Is there a dominant culture in Australia?

Ed

It's very hard to know.  I've been in Australia all my life and, although I've travelled overseas, I probably don't notice 'cultural' things which are peculiar to Australia.  For example, in Japan, I was struck by how many homes made maximum use of their small back yards to grow vegetables.  I thought of that as the 'dominant' culture, but I don't even notice Australian back yards and the uses people make of them.  To a Japanese person, there may well be an apparently 'dominant' cultural practice when it comes to Australian back yards.
