Hmmm. Well Christians follow a man called Jesus Christ. They follow his teachings, his actions, everything about this guy. And Jesus said some pretty big things. He said 'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the father but through me.' And these are some pretty big words. He basically is saying 'I am the only way to heaven and to salvation and to other spiritual conquests' if you like. I suppose it's a challenge to a lot of Christians, who want to work alongside people, who want to interact with others without being too preachy about 'you're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong about your faith.'I think it's actually more that they don't have the same understanding of God. See Christ says some other things. Things like 'love your neighbour, love him, love him as if he were you. Love your enemy as if he were your best friend.' And these are also some pretty big words. I think Christ is asking us, as Christians, to have a committed belief in ourselves about what we think is right. But also to get alongside other people, to love them where they're at. Not to bully, not to put them down, not to have a go at them, or exclude them from things because they think differently. But rather to open up conversation with these people, with other people, with all people about what we think about God. And to do life with them really well. That's what I think.
