Islam as a religion is one with science in many aspects and some of Islam’s greatest thinkers were scientists.  Muslims consider the pursuit of science the pursuit of unlocking some of God's wonders.  Islam also clearly states that the world was created and did not form by accident.  Likewise, humans were created and did not develop randomly from monkeys.
