Diversity Q & A

Why do you dress like that?

Zalman

I wear a little cap called a Kippa to remind me that I believe there is someone above me called God.  Some Jews wear a Kippa only when they pray, to show respect.  One of our books tells a story about a child whose Mum was worried he would become a robber.  She got him to always wear a hat to remind him to respect God.  One day he was sitting under someone else's fruit tree when his hat fell off and he just bit off some fruit without asking permission.
